The shopping possibilities in Berlin are almost endless. For all major designer boutiques, visit the avenue Kurfürstendamm and the iconic luxury department store KaDeWe. Don't miss the sixth floor, offering exclusive delicatessen from caviar to truffle. If you are more into street style, modern design and a curated designer selection, the Voo Store in Kreuzberg is the right place. Do you read me?! in Mitte is amazing for everyone who is looking for the newest fashion and design magazines from all over the world. Spa & Wellness
One of the most popular spas in Berlin is the Vabali Spa in the heart of the city. With its outdoor pool area, saunas and massage pavilions, the day spa is more than 20.000 square meters in size. The Cowshed at the Soho House is one of the best spas in the city, featuring mani-pedi chairs, private massage rooms and personalized facials. Award winning spa Guerlain Spa on the fifth floor of the Hotel Waldorf Astoria is offering pure relaxation on 1000 square meters, including a pool, sauna, fitness center and multiple therapy rooms.
For a serene experience of mindfulness, we suggest visiting Ōhia located in the Torstraße 103. This contemporary studio provides a range of yoga and meditation sessions, encompassing crystal bowl and gong sound baths, power yoga and more. The facilities are decorated with soothing ambient lighting and boast a minimalist, pristine interior. In addition to Ōhias membership options, single courses are available, starting at 25€ per hour. We recommend showing up about 15 minutes before your booked session.
Art & Exhibitions
There are constantly new exhibitions displaying national and international art from renowned artists all over the city. Our favorite locations hosting the most awaited exhibitons (mainly focused on contemporary and modern art) include the Boros Collection, Neue Nationalgalerie, Gropius Bau and Hamburger Bahnhof.
Around spring time, don't miss out on the Gallery Weekend Berlin, where about 50 art galleries showcase exhibitions by new and well established artists all around Berlin.
Transportation
If you are planning to stay over the weekend or just for a few days, we recommend getting a special tourist ticket like the "WelcomeCard", with which you can use every public transport in the city for the days you choose. You can download the tourist- and regular tickets all in the "BVG" App. Another great way to get from point A to B is using the shuttle service, offered by some of the hotels listed in the beginning of the guide (Ask in advance).
