1. Positive Affirmations
Positive affirmations are a good step into the right direction. Tell yourself every day that you are enough. Think about everything you’ve been through and be PROUD of that! Just find some sentences and read them out loud every morning to start with a positive feeling into the day.
2. Positive People
It’s so important to surround yourself with people who inspire you and make you feel confident. No one wants to hang out with people who make you feel bad or make you feel uncomfortable. Find people that care about you and motivate you during difficult times. Don't hesitate to talk about confidence with your friends, too. It may help you to listen to other stories and their experiences or struggles with self-confidence.
3. Mindset
Having a positive mindset is everything - literally! Just really try to change your negative thoughts into positive ones. Positivity not only makes your life so much easier, it also reduces your stress in your everyday life.
4. Focus
Focusing on yourself really helps you to find your inner strength and peace. You may automatically forget about negativity and start to see the good things in life. Another great way to focus on yourself is to read a book.
5. Accept yourself
Accepting yourself won’t happen from today to tomorrow. It’s a process which can be longer or shorter for some people. Start by accepting your edges and flaws and realize that it is okay to not be perfect - nobody is! When you start to love yourself, self-confidence comes by itself.
